Like who could have resisted painting such a beautiful canvas? Simba Diskin Castaño is a true 1930's woman embodied in our times. She wakes up and walks out her house looking like a 30's Beauty... and that was no exception on her wedding day. The bride was ready to be dolled up... rocking her feathered bird-cage veil that was carefully placed on her fabulous mane, which was created from small intricate knot-curls and then pinned in the shape of a beautiful chignon by the talented Hair Stylist Debbie Reynolds-Crooks.
Eyes were done with a mixture of beige, brown, matte white, bronze and a kiss of orange shadows. Black liner, lash extensions & mascara were added to create the dramatic finish.
Summer bronzer was added to her cheeks to create warmth and them topped off with coral blush for a dash of color.
There was only room for one focal point on the face... and that was her lips. I decided to use an orange lip-liner as base and then top it off with a red passion lipstick, creating red-tangerine lips... understated but loud enough to make a statement. I had created to perfect look for the perfect 30's Bride!
Team AVD had the pleasure of working with her and hubby Stephen for their big day... and the results were just what we had anticipated.
